Ty Christian

Ty Christian is a skater’s skater.  He’s a respected underground ripper known for his stylish and creative street skating, who, unbeknownst to many, attacks ramps, pools and parks with equal fervor.  Ty’s claim to fame is his namesake trick, Fakie 50.

Hailing from Calhoun, Georgia Ty started skating in his driveway and basement, making occasional forays to Dalton, Rome, and Atlanta for contests at Skatelife and North Ga.

Some of Ty’s early sponsors included Aplomb, and iDK Wear.  Now Ty still rocks Aplomb decks and maintains the lifestyle of a skateboarding nomad.  During off-board hours, he enjoys spending time with girlfriend and preparing for his kid to come.

More recently, Ty has been spending some serious time in the spotlight with an ever-growing pile of covers and coverage.  All signs indicate that Ty is perfectly poised to take it to the next level.
